Hypnotic film with cycles.
Exploring minimalism. My starting point is a simple animation of a line in 11 frames, then I am taking this into after effects and I will construct all the images with this simple cycle. I can watch this film many times and with every view I get fascinated by something new. Kafka’s story is by itself very mysterious and Koji Yamamura gracefully plays around an open piece of literature. He creates a world that contrasts between the peaceful, spiritual mood that one can find in traditional Japanese films… Read more »
